Copra Meal is made exclusively from the white flesh of the coconut called coconut. This feed contains no other ingredients. The oil is extracted mechanically (no chemicals are used).
Copra Meal is brown because it has been processed with low heat during the expelling process. The temperatures do not change the oil, nor harm the product.
The coconut meal used in Copra Meal is 100% GMO and chemical free.
Copra Meal is sourced from the Pacific Islands. There are many sources of coconut in the world, however there a few sources that meet the high standards of Stance Equine's copra meal.
Copra Meal contains: only 11% NSC, 10% coconut oil, 15% fiber and 20% protein and high DE
Simply feed Copra Meal 1-4 kg/day (2-8lb/day) and medium quality grass hay. Add a mineral and/or vitamin supplement if your grass/hay profile requires it.
Copra Meal may be fed mixed with water or dry.
Copra Meal can be fed to all horses for cool, calm energy that provides a shiny coat, better muscle development, especially the muscles of the top line, and improves overall health from the inside out.
Copra Meal may be fed to metabolically challenged horses.
Remove all sources of NSC (grain) from the diet and follow feed instructions above.
Avoid PUFA (Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids, also known as vegetable seed oils).

Older horses with dental problems will benefit from the unique nutritional properties of Copra Meal.
